Every Omni model can do UV printing and UV DTF stickers for hard goods. Only the UV + DT Fabric model can print DTF transfers and do DTG directly onto shirts, because it has a second printhead with fabric inks and a garment platen. If apparel is the reason you're buying, that's the model you need.
Plan on about two hours from box to first print. Setup includes removing transit screws, loading ink cartridges, filters, waste tank, and moisturizing liquid, then thirteen manual ink extractions you do yourself with a syringe, followed by a firmware update and guided calibration. Misting usually means the printhead is sitting too high, because it measures the highest point on the platen and a thick collar edge or a seam will throw it off. Blotchy color on white blanks usually means white ink was skipped underneath.
