Silhouette U is a higher learning extension where you'll find content that isn't available on Silhouette School Blog. By joining Silhouette U, you'll have access to video tutorials and free commercial use design files added every month. You'll also be able to download a free annual members only mini-guide that won't be for sale anywhere else. The only place to get this mini-guide is by joining! Silhouette U members will also be able to join a members only Facebook group where you'll have exclusive Facebook Live Q&A sessions, monthly giveaways, 1:1 time with Melissa during her "office hours" via Facebook Messenger, and access a community of Silhouette crafters as passionate as you are!
There are several membership options to join Silhouette U. Monthly memberships start at $12.99. If you plan to remain a member for several months (we hope you do!), a 6 month membership is available for $69.99 which reflects a 10% discount, and a 12 month membership is available for $129.99 - that's our best value with almost 2 months free!
All memberships automatically renew for the same term and price as the original term unless you cancel prior to the renewal. For example, if you sign up for a monthly membership, you will be charged $12.99 after your first month expires. Similarly, if you sign up for a 6 month membership, you will be charged $69.99 after your 6th month expires.
Click on 'My Account' page and you will find your membership status.
To change membership plans,
- Login to your Silhouette U account
- From the My Account page, click on the "Edit" button next to your plan details, then click "Change Membership"
- Please select the new plan and click on the 'Save Changes' button to change your membership
When changing membership plans, the new plan begins immediately. Billing is prorated based on any remaining time on the previous plan. A summary of the billing details and proration will display prior to changing plans
- Login to your Silhouette U account
- From the My Account section, click on the "Edit" button next to your plan, then click on the "Cancel Membership" button
- Follow the prompts on the next screen to cancel your plan.
Please be sure to cancel you subscription before your Billing Date to avoid renewing your membership for the next cycle.

There are no refunds on memberships, but you may cancel at any time. Once you have decided to cancel, your membership will then expire at the end of the period you purchased.
Go to My Account - Update Card.
Start by clicking here. Once you are there, please click "Request Access". This will shoot the administrators request, and you'll be granted access to the Facebook group in about 1 business day.
*Please ensure that your Silhouette U profile name EXACTLY matches your Facebook profile name. If you need to update your Silhouette U profile name, go to My Account - Edit Profile. Requests will not be accepted without an exact match*

Video tutorials are only available for streaming, and thus cannot be downloaded or saved to your device. The good news is that all videos are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the Videos section of Silhouette U.
Yes, we offer gift subscriptions for each of our plan options: 1 Month, 6 Months, and 12 Months.
To purchase a gift subscription, please click the Gifts link or click here.
You'll enter the Gift Purchaser's email address and Gift Recipient's email address, then complete the purchase.
If the Gift Recipient has an active membership, they will receive account credits in the amount of the gift subscription purchase added to their account. These credits will be automatically applied to future subscription charges.
If the Gift Recipient does not have an active subscription, they will receive a link via email to begin the gift subscription term when they would like to start.
Yes!!! Silhouette U has all of the same awesome features on your phone, tablet, or mobile device. Just type www.silhouetteu.com in your browser and you're all set.
There is not an official Silhouette U app, but you can use Silhouette U from a mobile device through your browser. You can even add a shortcut icon to the home screen of your iPhone, iPad, or Android device so you can go directly to the Silhouette U website!
Android device: We don't have one of these to make our own video, but this website will walk you through how to add a shortcut on your home screen.
