Homework 49.1: How to Remove White in Your DTF Design So Your Shirt Color Shows Through

A new homework assignment, back by request. In Part 1 of this two-part series, Melissa shows how to use Silhouette Studio to remove the white from a DTF design so the color of your shirt shows through instead of printing white ink. You'll use Trace by Color and the Modify panel to knock the white out, which saves ink and gives you a thinner, softer, more breathable transfer. Part 2 next month picks up in xTool Studio to cut your white ink down even further.

eufyMake E1 Zero Point Calibration and Alignment (Plus Your First Print)

The photo alignment step on the eufyMake E1 can add up to ten minutes to every print. Zero Point Alignment lets you skip it. Melissa walks through the one-time Zero Point Calibration that prints a reference mark on your mat, then does a first print on a magnet using it, placing the design at a set coordinate so you never wait on a photo capture again.
