Why most AI attempts at this fail
Ask an AI tool to make your design look embroidered and it will usually redesign it. Your text gets rewritten, your arch flattens, your letter spacing widens, and it adds a star somewhere because it thought that would look nice.
This prompt is built to stop that. Roughly two thirds of it is not about embroidery at all. It is instructions telling the model to leave your composition, typography, spelling, letter spacing and negative space exactly as they are. The embroidery description is the small part at the top.
That is why it runs to 14,000 characters. The length is the point. Copy all of it.
What you get
Satin stitch on the lettering, borders and fine details. Directional tatami fill across the broad shapes, with the stitch direction following the contour of each curve. Visible thread sheen, realistic stitch depth, and the micro shadows between rows that make it read as physically stitched rather than filtered.
The output is a PNG with a transparent background, so it goes wherever your artwork normally goes.
What you do with the result
Print it as a UV patch or sticker. Send it to your DTF printer as a transfer. Sublimate it. Print and cut it on vinyl.
The point is that the texture is printed, not manufactured. You get the look of a stitched patch without owning an embroidery machine or sourcing a single spool of thread.
Getting good results
Start with a flat PNG on a transparent background. Flat color works best. Drop shadows, printed distress and leftover halos will all come back to you rendered in thread, because the prompt told the model not to change your artwork and it listened.
Bold artwork converts better than fine detail. Thick lines, solid shapes, chunky lettering. Fine script strains here the same way it would in real embroidery.
Check the result before you print. Look at spelling, letter spacing and the gaps between separate elements first. If something drifted, run it again. The same prompt will not give you the same answer twice.
